Salon de l'Agriculture 2022 : une grande victoire pour la coopérative féminine SAHS SCOOP Daloa

Agricultural Show 2022: a big victory for the women's cooperative SAHS SCOOP Daloa

Ayo! Ayoka?

(* Hello how are you ? )

For a first participation, it’s a masterstroke!

They don't make a lot of noise, our chocolatier moms, but the product that they have been refining for a year now in their workshop, under the eye of their mentor, Axel Emmanuel, has quietly stood out:

Yes yes !

the “Daloa” chocolate bar was part of the “Selection of World Agriculture” at this 2022 International Agricultural Show which was held from February 26 to March 6, 2022, at the Parc des Expositions in Paris.

An independent jury made up of agricultural professionals, supported by ordinary consumers giving their favorites about the products they tasted, and here is the "Daloa" tablet propelled to the rank of the best products encountered at the Show.

A first for Ivory Coast, whose increasingly assertive policy of support for its entrepreneurs is also crowned with success.

A big boost for these determined women, trained a year ago by Axel Emmanuel, our artisan chocolatier, and his team. They met the challenge with flying colors.

A great pride for him whose fight is precisely that of encouraging and bringing out the value that he has seen for a long time in all Ivorian women.

Well now it's done! Everyone is wondering where the town of Daloa is where they come from! We put a map for you here...

Located in western Ivory Coast, Daloa is one of the most important cities in Côte d'Ivoire, thanks to its climate beneficial to cocoa cultivation, and its traditions which uplift the soul of the Bété people.

To learn about the city and its history, do not hesitate to read Pierre Kipré. In his book " Daloa, a city in history" ( SIIS,  the writer tells us about his hometown.

A special nod to the great Ernesto Djédjé , also from Daloa. From where he looks at us, he must be very proud to see the “City of Antelopes” giving birth to quality chocolate.

Chocolate, really true, is as sweet as the " ziglilithy of our childhood!

The “Daloa” tablet is also teamwork. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our friend, the writer Pacôme Kipré for the Bété language translation on the packaging, as well as Ambassador Aly Touré for his support.

For “Le Chocolatier Ivoirien”, the adventure continues. We will still train hundreds of women from cocoa farmers and cooperatives, starting next month in the Bélier region and in Moronou.
Marching for the #cocoarevolution
